A seasoned Agile professional with more than 20 year’s expertise in the field of organisational change, facilitating learning events, change workshops and organisational assessments around Product Development and Process Improvement. As a agile coach he has extensive experience as a catalyst for organisational transformation, and the clients he has worked with companies from various industries including banking & finance, energy, information technology, telecommunications, FMCG, and healthcare.

Hugo is an Agile trainer and agile Innovation coach specialised in Agile development. He has 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur as well. For over 10 years, Hugo has been building and managing teams worldwide. He led his software company “Bridge Global” through an agile transformation to ensure their product and customer focus, allow them to work efficiently and smoothly, and encourage continuous improvement through self-organised teams. Based on his positive experiences in his own company, he has started sharing his Agile knowledge with others. His passion is to enable people spread across cultures, geography, and time zones to cooperate in a truly Agile way Scrum is a central part of Hugo’s story. He’s a certified scrum professional (CSP) and certified scrum master (CSM). He has written six books about managing distributed software teams to share his experience and about Agile and Scrum. His most recent book is Guide To The Distributed Agile Framework. Hugo moved to Bali with his family and is currently helping companies in Indonesia and the rest of Asia to become more Agile. He is passionate about entrepreneurship, and his training sessions are all action-oriented to ensure that participants get the most benefit and can start putting Agile theory into practice.

Gretel is a certified and experienced Agile practitioner. She enjoys bringing diverse teams together to deliver better in complex environments continuously. She starts with understanding the vision and desired outcomes and then, through collaboration creates innovative solutions to customer and business problems.

She has extensive experience as a Product Manager and Product Owner. As a result of being involved in one of the most successful Agile adoptions in Australia by a large financial services company, she knows instinctively what good Agile looks like and how to both be and do Agile in complex environments.

As an Agile Consultant, she can help define your vision and then work with you and your teams to adopt and adapt agile practices. She is an excellent interpreter between the old ways of working and the new ways of working.

She is also the organiser and co-host for Agile Circles community in Singapore and Malaysia.

Gretel has more than 25 years of experience working in the UK, NZ, Australia, and eight years in Asia, working with teams in Singapore, Japan, China, Malaysia, and India. She has worked as a consultant, vendor and client-side primarily in Insurance, Retail Banking, Mobile & Fraud & Identity.

Michaela’s personal drive is to grow and help others grow, creating and maximising the power of human networks. In her career as an Agile coach and consultant, she’s had the opportunity to advise many organisations in different industries, and coached cross-functional teams in both IT and HR. Her main focus has been on high performing teams, learning communities and leading tribes to better business outcomes through participative design, optimised collaboration and authentic communication.

As a coach Michaela uses systemic coaching as well as solution oriented techniques depending on the context. 

She has co-authored a book on Agile People Principles where she focused on the topic of ‘Optimising for the whole’. 

Michaela is a broadly certified and non-dogmatic Agilist, coach and facilitator.

ANIS SHAKIRAH - MARKETING MANAGER

Anis cut her teeth in traditional newsrooms, building her skills in writing, editing and storytelling, which would be essential in her later career as a marketer specialising in marketing strategy, content strategy, content marketing, social media marketing, corporate communications, and branding. She is currently a marketing manager who promotes and markets within the Southeast Asia region.

Anis has more than seven years of working experience in the United States and Malaysia with large and smaller local companies, carrying different roles within corporate communications, content marketing, social media marketing, public relations, and branding. Through her experience, Anis has helped companies build their brands and online presence by implementing marketing strategies to enable brands to reach out to and connect with their customer segments.

Anis has also led marketing teams consisting of content marketers, digital marketers, and designers. She has also successfully helped launch new campaigns for products within Malaysia.
